Wreckordings: How Distorted Online Information Manipulates Perceptions

The FEU Public Policy Center is organizing a policy forum in partnership with the #FactsFirstPH Consortium, a multi-sector initiative led by the digital media firm Rappler, which aims to promote truth in public spaces and demand accountability from perpetrators of misinformation.

The policy forum will present the findings of a review of select popular YouTube videos on Philippine history and the 2022 elections. The review underscores the alarming proliferation of online content that are selective in the information presented and are replete with opinions and statements that are either false or unsubstantiated.
