Ilene Kanfer Murray has been a genealogy researcher for almost forty years. A retired English and computer teacher, she has been publications director for the St. Louis Genealogical Society since 2000. She co-leads the society’s annual research trip to Salt Lake City and is a co-leader of the society’s Jewish Special Interest Group. She lectures, teaches genealogy and computer classes, and writes and edits for genealogical publications. Ilene also serves on the society’s technology and social media teams by working on the website, the society’s Facebook pages, and the weekly blog, StLGS News Flash
