Willa C Richards, author of The Comfort of Monsters, in conversation with Valerie Laken - a virtual Event
From debut novelist Willa C Richards comes The Comfort of Monsters, set during the "Dahmer Summer" of 1991, about two sisters - one disappears and one who is left to pick up the pieces in the aftermath.
Though now based in New York, Willa C Richards grew up in the area and has a PhD from UW-Milwaukee. She also a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her story "Failure to Thrive" was published by the Paris Review and won a PEN/Robert J Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers.
