Jianying Zhou is a professor and co-center director for iTrust at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He received PhD in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. His research interests are in applied cryptography and network security, cyber-physical system security, mobile and wireless security. He is a co-founder & steering committee co-chair of ACNS. He is also steering committee chair of ACM AsiaCCS, and steering committee member of Asiacrypt. He is an ACM Distinguished Member. He received the ESORICS Outstanding Contribution Award in 2020, in recognition of contributions to the community.

Noriyuki KAJITA is expert engineer at ClassNK Digital Transformation Center. Previously he has been in the aviation industry for 35 years and has fulfilled several positions as regards to design engineering of aircraft thorough product support. With his expertise, he joined ClassNK in 2021 as a core steering member of ClassNK MASS team to develop ClassNK’s rules on approving MASS. In 2022, he published a contribution article titles “Necessity of New Framework to Support Social Implementation of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships” as a co-author on ClassNK Technical Journal.

Päivi Brunou, Managing Director of METSTA Ry (METSTA, Mechanical Engineering and Metals Industry Standardization in Finland) is a sense maker with a pragmatic and holistic approach to standards and cybersecurity. She wants to help companies to discover how standards and cybersecurity can be leveraged as an accelerator for digitalising industries and to foster innovation. In her daily work, Päivi leads a team of professionals coordinating the national work in the field of mechanical engineering and metals industry, building automation and energy management standardization, both on the European and international level. METSTA is responsible for over 8700 ISO-standards and for 5600 EN-standards and is also a leading national expert in multiple new and developing standardization subjects, such as robotics and automation, digital twins, additive manufacturing, space and automated seafaring.

Dr Victor Bolbot is a post-doc researcher at the Research group on Safe and Efficient Marine Systems of Aalto University with doctoral degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, and M.Sc degree from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. During his studies as a Master and PhD student Victor has received multiple awards for his outstanding performance from distinguished organisations such as DNV, IMarEST, Limmat Stiftung, Thomaideion, TRA VISIONS 2020. Victor research interests focus on design, educational aspects, safety and cybersecurity assurance of complex and autonomous marine systems.
