This course will focus on the use of drugs, including alcohol, from the same drug category as well as two or more categories. Focus will be placed on the most common drug use trends that officers are likely to see. Students will be given resources to research pharmaceutical drugs and how they can affect the body. They will also be provided information on new drug trends. Mental and physical effects will be discussed as well as performance during the field sobriety exercises.
