This webinar is being hosted by several organizations working to shift narratives and journalistic practices around climate solutions. How the media reports about solutions has great implications in the public imagination about what’s possible, as well as tangible implications in the fields of policy and philanthropy. We’ll look at some recent research that demonstrates momentum in reporting that elevates conversations about equity, justice, as well as deep and lasting solutions. We will discuss the most recent findings from The Solutions Project’s Climate Solutions Narrative Trends report which showcase some of the progress and remaining barriers in climate solutions journalism. We will also hear from Uproot and the Solutions Journalism Network about additional narrative shifts underway. This webinar will also share active case studies and resources available to those trying to turn the tide with climate media.
