Access to justice in the 2020s
In his paper published in March Lord Sandhurst QC reviewed the history of Legal Aid for civil and family matters since 1949 and the effects of LASPOA 2012. He argued for a joined up and radical approach to Legal Aid, Funding and Procedural Reform in the Civil and Family Courts to ensure access to justice.

This webinar will discuss these matters.

Our distinguished panel, chaired by Sir BN, MP, Chair of the Justice Committee and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Society of Consetvative Laywers, comprises Alex Chalk MP, The Rt Hon Sir James Munby, Andrea Coomber, The Rt Hon Sir Rupert Jackson, Lord Sandhurst QC.
