Join staff of MADP August 6th at 12:30PM CST to learn more about Ernest Johnson and ways you can get involved with his clemency campaign.
Ernest is scheduled for execution on October 5th, 2021. Ernest Johnson is a person with an intellectual disability and should be ineligible for execution. Killing him would be unconstitutional, cruel, and unusual. Please help us call upon Governor Parson to grant clemency for Ernest.
Ernest Lee Johnson was convicted of three counts of first-degree murder in the 1994 deaths of Mary Bratcher, Mable Scruggs, and Fred Jones, three employees of a Casey’s convenience store in Columbia, MO. You can learn more about his case and recent updates via his petition at www.change.org/save-ernest-johnson.
