Panel discussion: Experiences of Black feminist organizing in Ottawa
Challenging anti-Black and all forms of racism, as well as dismantling white supremacy, need to be core components of the feminist movement. As recent events have reminded us, our city, province, and country must address and dismantle systems steeped in racism and micro-aggressions. The importance of centring Black women and femmes while working for a more just, equitable, and feminist future is clearer than ever.

Join local activists and community leaders for a panel discussion on experiences of Black feminist organizing and activism in Ottawa. Speakers include Maya Basudde, Meseret Haileyesus, Alicia-Marie LeJour, Leila Moumouni-Tchouassi and Lyse-Pascale Inamuco.
