The Brand Dialogue Forum will unveil the results of our latest report on the perceptions of GI brands across Europe, which explores the following topics:
-Awareness and understanding of GI brands in different European markets
-Consumers' perceptions and expectations regarding quality, authenticity, provenance, social responsibility, and sustainability
-Recognition of GI logos and certifications
-Current political, trade, and marketing issues, including Brexit and COVID-19
The Forum aims to bring together representatives of GI brands, associations, regulators, and the HORECA industry from across the UK and Europe, who are keen to interact with and learn more about brands with a Geographical Indication.
The discussion will centre around topics such as what makes a successful GI brand; how global issues such as COVID-19 have affected local and global products; how brands can promote their provenance and branding in an ever-changing market; and what responsibility GI products have to ensure quality and authenticity. Speakers will include representatives of leading producers, consortia, trade bodies, and IP lawyers, who will share the best strategies for GI brands moving forward.
Brand Dialogue has been promoting GIs in the UK for more than 25 years. Past and present clients include the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano, the Consortium of Prosciutto di Parma, Gorgonzola, Alaskan Salmon, and Picota del Jerte Cherries.
Agenda and speakers to be announced shortly.
