Miss Kendra Programs June Webinar - Assessing the Impact of the Backlash against SEL Programs

The leadership of the Miss Kendra Program will discuss recent criticism and legislative actions against SEL programs around the country. Claims that SEL is harmful indoctrination strike at the heart of what the Miss Kendra Program is about—making space for children to express their worries. Together we need to take a firm stance for children’s self-expression. These sentiments are being expressed in every part of the country. They serve to silence our children and our teachers, and will inevitably increase the psychological isolation, dysfunction, and suffering of students who have experienced toxic stress and trauma.
