NCORP Special Symposium: Improving Representation in Cancer Clinical Trials
A 2-hour virtual symposium for information gathering and shared learning on accrual strategies across network sites.

SWOG and The Hope Foundation, in collaboration with Genentech and additional future funders, are launching an initiative with partners across the NCI National Clinical Trials Network as a multi-phased – and ultimately multi-year – program to share, model, replicate, and test interventions that have been shown to successfully increase minority and underserved representation in, and access to, cancer clinical trials. To kick off the initiative in its first year, this 2-hour virtual symposium will provide an opportunity for information gathering and shared learning, and will serve as a springboard for research ideas to test promising accrual strategies across network sites. Funding for five pilot studies will be offered in late 2021 through The Hope Foundation.
