Anatomic pathologist Dr. Liron Pantanowitz, toxicologic pathologist Dr. Dan Rudmann, and Augmentiqs CEO Gabe Siegel discuss augmented reality microscopy (ARM) and the role it can play within anatomic and toxicologic pathologist. This is a live webinar on February 25, 2021 where Dr. Pantanowitz & Dr. Rudmann will present their vision for ARM, and answer any questions which were presented by viewers from the prerecorded presentation.

He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston followed by fellowships in hematopatholoy and cytopathology. He is also boarded in Clinical Informatics. During his career at Tufts University School of Medicine, Baystate Medical Center, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center he has achieved regional, national and international recognition as a leader in the pathology field. As a leader in informatics with a particular interest in digital pathology he spearheaded landmark clinical guidelines for promoting adoption of digital pathology and developing a national pathology informatics curriculum. Dr. Pantanowitz is an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pathology Informatics. He is widely published in the field of pathology informatics including digital imaging and its application to pathology. Dr. Dan Rudmann (Digital Pathology Lead & Scientific Director @Charles River Laboratories) Dan is an ACVP Board Certified Anatomic Veterinary Pathologist with PhD training and 23 years of experimental, nGLP and GLP discovery and toxicologic pathology experience. He is the Leader of Toxicology and Pathology and Translational Science Organizations composed of technical, associate, and doctoral level scientists at CRL. His expertise includes discovery and development investigative pathology experience in neurology, inflammation/autoimmune, musculoskeletal, respiratory, oncology, and endocrine therapeutic areas. Dan is the author or co-author of expert reports and IND/CTX/IB documents with 10 years of experience as a GLP toxicology study director and toxicology project team representative. Dan worked at Eli Lilly prior to joining CRL where he heads up their digital pathology and AI initiatives. Gabe Siegel (CEO @Augmentiqs) Gabe is the CEO and co-founder of Augmentiqs, the first company to develop and commercialize ARM technology.
