Join our next Acadicus VR Roundtable with Dr. Ryan M. McAdams, John "Pathfinder" Lester and Jon Brouchoud on Friday May 7th at 2pm Eastern.
Dr. Ryan M. McAdams is a neonatologist in Madison, Wisconsin an Associate Professor and Division Chief for the University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics’ Division of Neonatology & Newborn Nursery, and a faculty member in the Division of Global Pediatrics. Through research, scholarship, and clinical work, he is committed to providing the best care to every baby everywhere so they can survive and thrive.
To provide high quality care to every mother and baby, high quality education and training is essential. Contemporary approaches are needed to augment traditional teaching strategies in fun, exciting, and realistic ways. Virtual reality offers remote access to “in-person” environments, where learners are immersed in hospital settings that mimic reality. We are at an exciting frontier in medical training, where integrating virtual hospitals with virtual patients has the potential to optimize learning anywhere and anytime. Join our Roundtable to experience the new era of simulation-based education!
You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions live in Zoom, and we’ll be recording the entire session for everyone to watch later.
