About the Sixth Carbon Budget
The Climate Change Committee (CCC) will publish its recommendation on the level of the Sixth Carbon Budget in December 2020. The Sixth Carbon Budget, required under the Climate Change Act, will provide Ministers with advice on the volume of greenhouse gases the UK can emit during the period 2033-2037.

• The event will include an overview of the implications of the Sixth Carbon Budget for agriculture and land use by the Climate Change Committee secretariat
• The event will be chaired by Professor Corinne Le Corinne Le Quéré, member of the Climate Change Committee and Professor of Climate Change Science at the University of East Anglia
• There will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments
