Carlos Cubia

Carlos Cubia is SVP and Global Chief Diversity Officer for Walgreens Boots Alliance. Cubia has been instrumental in advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). He has over 20 years of experience in financial services, insurance, and the healthcare industry where he has been directly responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Account Management. Among his achievements are launching the first global WBA Diversity & Inclusion Report; the formation of the Global Inclusion Council; and the linking of a portion of incentive pay to performance on DEI goals. He has partnered closely with the divisions and functions of WBA as a champion for the racial equity movement and for affordable, accessible health care for all.   Prior to joining WBA, Cubia served as VP, Sales and Account Management at Aetna, VP and Global Chief Diversity Officer at Covidien, and also held VP level positions for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Safeco Insurance.
Juliette Mayers

Juliette Mayers is Founder and CEO of Inspiration Zone LLC (IZL), a strategic consulting firm specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D&I) Strategy, Brand Management, and Thought Leadership.  She is known for helping clients integrate D&I and multicultural insights to provide value-driven, innovative solutions that position brands for success in the global marketplace. She is a trusted advisor and confidante who uses her influence to position leaders for success.  In addition to her consulting practice, she motivates and inspires audiences through her keynotes and workshops on inclusive leadership, strategic networking, personal branding, and women's leadership. She is a published author of two books and is a contributor and member of the Forbes Coaches Council. She is the recipient of numerous awards and was recently recognized by GetKonnected as one of Boston’s Most Impactful Black Women.
