Gift Consequences
Gifts made by you or to you can not only have tax consequences, but can also affect eligibility for governmental benefit programs.

Join us on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 12:15-12:45 PM EST, to learn about the consequences involved when making or receiving gifts. We will cover the estate tax and gift tax aspects of gifts of $16,000, $34,000, a home, and $1 million in appreciated stock. We will also cover the MassHealth, SSI and V.A. Aid and Attendance rules regarding these gifts. We will be joined by our guest speaker Attorney Mark Worthington from Special Needs Law Group of Massachusetts, PC, of Framingham, MA.
