Glendaliz Martinez Almonte works nationally for Curriculum Associates, advising districts in their implementation of high standards, Culturally Responsive Teaching supports, and English Learner (EL) resources. In 2021, Glenda celebrated her 20th year in education. Glenda has taught at every grade level band, including college-level ELA and ESOL to adults in the community. During her educational career, Glenda has supported school districts in their planning, writing, and implementation of curriculum to ensure equity and access for marginalized students.

Julius B. Anthony is President of St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature and St. Louis Regional Literacy Association a chapter of the Missouri Literacy Association. Mr. Anthony is most known for founding The Believe Project which inspires kids to become readers by using culturally responsive books, music, art, and media. Believe’s literacy-based children’s show won the Enduring Ideas 2020 Award sponsored by The Reinvention Lab at Teach for America, for education innovation. Julius B. Anthony is a proud graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC.
