Inclusive VNRs for a sustainable and resilient recovery- whole of society approach to leave no one behind.

This side event will provide an opportunity to share approaches to a whole of society VNR as a vehicle to deliver a sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to share the experience of stakeholder engagement processes in the VNRs in a diverse range of countries, as part of the assessment and steps towards the recovery.

The session will hear from key VNR countries on their steps to engage civil society in their national processes and it will feature the launch of the 2021 version of the People’s Scorecard, a comparative analysis of civil society perspectives on progress of the SDGs in each country.
