Nicola Triscott PhD

Nicola Triscott PhD is a curator, cultural producer, researcher and writer, specializing in the intersections between art, science, technology and society. Since 2019, Nicola has been the Director/CEO of FACT (Foundation for Art & Creative Technology) in Liverpool, UK. Previously, Nicola was the Artistic Director/CEO of Arts Catalyst, which she founded in 1994, and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Westminster (2017-19). Over 25 years, she built Arts Catalyst into one of the UK’s most distinctive and respected contemporary arts and research organisations, distinguished by ambitious artists’ commissions, including notable projects by Tomás Saraceno, Otolith Group, Carey Young, Ashok Sukumaran, Marko Peljhan, Ariel Guzik, Aleksandra Mir, Jan Fabre, Donald Rodney, Helen Chadwick, and Critical Art Ensemble. Nicola has curated numerous exhibitions and events in the UK and internationally.
Simon McKeown

Professor Simon Mckeown is an award-winning internationally exhibiting artist renowned for his work which touches on and considers disability as well as our digital futures. With a long career in digital production, he exhibits internationally and his works, including Motion Disabled, has been shown as far afield as the Smithsonian International Gallery in the USA, The DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague, Czech Republic, GAK in Kosovo along with galleries in Australia, Norway, America, South America, the UK, along with the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum in Dresden, Germany. In 2018 he exhibited at the UK Government led Great Exhibition of the North in a joint exhibition programme. entitled This Way North. In 2010 he was named DaDaFest International Artist of the Year following the simultaneous showing of his work in 17 countries.
