The Global Health Imaging Case Report Competition is a collaboration between the Departments of Radiology at Penn Medicine and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), along with the Perelman School of Medicine Center for Global Health. This is a virtual event designed for medical trainees in low- and middle-income countries to present cases unique to their region.

Ugas Charcape (Head of the Department of Diagnostic Support and Research and Innovation @Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño San Borja, Peru) Dr. Carlos F. Ugas Charcape is a Pediatric Radiologist with 14 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño San Borja in Peru, where he serves as the Head of the Department of Diagnostic Support and Department of Research and Innovation. He is involved in research that focuses on thoracic and cardiac imaging, general pediatric imaging, and innovations such as AI and 3D printing. In addition, Dr. Ugas is an active member of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Radiology (SLARP) and is currently serving as President. He is also on the editorial staff for the Pediatric Radiology Journal.
