With the COVID 19 pandemic affecting many aspects of recovery supports and structures it is important that families and professionals educate themselves about how to respond to an opiate overdose.
The Council is proud to offer this in depth look at opioids and narcan response presented by Internationally Certified Prevention Specialist David Fialko.
This training provides:

Effects of opioid use
How to respond to an opioid overdose
The hour and half training is designed to provide caregivers, community members, families and professionals a better understanding of how to identify and respond to a opioid overdose.
Instructions on how to receive a Free Dose of Narcan through the mail will be provided after the training. You will need to select the county you live in during the registration. You will also need to complete the post test and evaluation after the training.
