Bridging the Gap for Global Talent at Georgia Piedmont Technical College
Immigrants and refugees bring unique skillsets once they relocate to the U.S., but often face barriers related to language, licensing, and translating their credentials. With our current workforce shortages, it is imperative that we create clear pathways for these individuals to participate in the workforce, especially in high demand fields.
Mary Baxter, Instructional Coordinator - Adult Education, will join MAX to discuss a bridge program developed at Georgia Piedmont Technical College to meet the needs of students and our workforce and ensure they connect with employers in need of their talent.
Join MAX on Friday, September 24th, 9:00 AM, for a timely and virtual conversation.
