As part of our Communities of Practice programme, AsIAm, Ireland's National Autism Charity, and IrishJobs.ie, Ireland’s leading e-recruitment platform, are conducting a series of monthly masterclasses aimed at supporting employers to tap into the vast untapped pool of Autistic talent in Ireland.
Each monthly workshop will cover a different theme, including recruitment and onboarding, workplace culture and attitudes to neurodiversity, self-advocacy in the workplace and career progression and personal development.
Our third Masterclass workshop, on Tuesday June 15th 2021 at 12pm, will be on the topic of 'Workplace Culture and Attitudes to Neurodiversity'.
Joining us for our June Masterclass will be Emily Banks (Founder & CEO of Enna, formerly known as Stack Recruitment), who will share her experience and expertise on how workplaces can be more inclusive of Autistic talent and on how businesses can build neurodiverse workplace cultures.
Also joining us for this Masterclass will be Rob McClean (Senior Vice President & Head of Ireland Fund Accounting & Middle Office Services, Northern Trust) who will share an employer's perspective on promoting a neurodiverse workplace culture.
We will also hear from two members of the autism community, a parent of an autistic child and an autistic self-advocate who will share their personal experience of the steps the organisation they're working for are taking to promote Neurodiversity at work, and the autism community's perspective on what it's like to work for an organisation who have made significant progress in making their workforce more diverse and inclusive. Further details on the speakers for the Masterclass will be announced shortly.
