Implications for the front lines: Programming highlights from CAHR 2021
A webinar in partnership with the Canadian Association for HIV Research.

This webinar will highlight HIV programs across the continuum of care that were presented at the Canadian Association for HIV Research virtual conference (CAHR 2021).

While we continue to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on program delivery, we also need to push forward with HIV prevention, testing and treatment programs, in addition to programs that address the overdose epidemic in Canada.

The programs presented will have key implications for community programming and use the 90-90-90 UNAIDS targets as the framework. This webinar will also provide an opportunity to learn more from two Canadian community-based programs working in HIV.

Moderator: Shelley Taylor, CATIE

Speakers:

• Rachel Landy, Carrielynn Lund, Raye St. Denis and Kandace Ogilvie, Development of a Rural Model for Integrated Shared Care in First Nation and Métis Communities (DRUM & SASH)
• Wanjiru Munene, African and Caribbean Council on HIV/AIDS in Ontario
• Amanda Giacomazzo, Mallory Harrigan and Camille Arkell, CATIE
