Brenisen Wheeler is the Education and Outreach Coordinator at Women’s Advocates, one of the first domestic violence shelters in the nation. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and several years of research experience studying identity, mental health, and trauma. Since starting at Women’s Advocates in April 2019, Brenisen has presented to thousands of individuals across the globe in the effort to address domestic violence where we live, learn, work, and gather.
