Rare Plants of the North Quabbin Region
Join Karro Frost, an associate with the National Heritage Endangered Species Program (NHESP) and Conservation Planning Biologist, for a 60-minute presentation on rare plants in the North Quabbin area and ways to identify and help protect these threatened plants. The presentation will also touch upon the importance of the Massachusetts Endangered Species Act as it turns 30 this year.

Karro Frost
Karro has been with MassWildlife since 2013. Prior to that, she was an environmental consultant, mostly doing wetland permitting, but also rare plant surveys, with an MA from Clark University in Environment, Technology and Society and a BA in Geography. She was on the Warwick Conservation Commission for 30 years and served as chair for approximately 10 years. Karro is an abutter to MGLCT’s Arthur Iverson Conservation Area, and she loves spending time exploring it.
