Climate change may result in risks that could potentially have financial stability implications for the banking system. In this session we will discuss the main transmission channels of climate-related risks to the banking sector and to what extent central banks and supervisors can mitigate these risks. We will also get an industry perspective on how banks assess and address climate-related financial risks in practice.
