Programming Essentials: Data Types & Variables in JS

In this workshop, we explore:

- How to setup your Cloud9 environment to code in JavaScript
- Learn about different data types, like strings, integers, and objects
- Explore how we can convert between different data types (i.e., type coercion)
- Look into what it means for JS to "output" or "return" values, and how they are different
- Pick up what variables are, and how they are useful
