Join Keith Wilson, Candidate for Portland City Council Position #4 and Tera Hurst, Candidate for Portland City Council Position #2 for a Virtual Town Hall moderated by Multnomah County Commissioner Lori Stegmann and joined by special guest Dr. Erika Mosesón.
While our primary focus today is to STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES to give our health care workers time and resources to combat this health crisis and that the result of this pandemic has thrown all of us into an economic crisis, we will emerge from this stronger However, we need to come together with the same sense of urgency to address Portland's climate crisis. Lori, Tera, Keith and Erika will discuss the effects this crisis is having on our health and climate and outline solutions we can put into place today to counter.
Commissioner Stegmann represents District 4. Lori attended Mt. Hood CC and received a Bachelor's in business from Portland State. She has been a small business owner and insurance agent for over 20 years, specializing in commercial insurance.
Dr. Mosesón is a pulmonologist and ICU doctor. She completed medical school at Cornell, residency in internal medicine at the UC San Francisco, and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at OHSU. She is President of Oregon Thoracic Society and a member of the Oregon Legislature’s Diesel Task Force supporting businesses reducing diesel emissions.
Tera Hurst, Candidate for Portland City Council Position 2, has a degree in Social Work from PSU and a career in political and community organizing. She worked as an organizer with Basic Rights Oregon, fighting to pass Marriage Equality in Oregon, in the State Legislature, and served as Chief of Staff to Portland Mayor Charlie Hales. Today, she is Executive Director of Renew Oregon.
Keith Wilson, Candidate for Portland City Council Position 4, has a BS from OSU and a MBA from UP. He is president of TITAN Freight,one of the most technologically advanced, safe and energy efficient national carriers.
