She is the author of many books about jewelry history and is considered an authority on many areas of the decorative arts. Beatriz is curator of the renowned Alice and Louis Koch Collection, today housed in the Swiss National Museum, Zurich, and is consultant curator of the William and Judith Bollinger Jewellery Gallery at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
