Teaching in the Remote/ Distance Classroom Environment: What Higher Education Faculty Need to Do to Get K-12 Teachers Ready
Are you interested in learning more about how we are currently preparing pre-service teachers for the online and hybrid environment? The CIDDL and CEEDAR centers hosted a series of Affinity Group meetings where participants from different stakeholder groups shared their insights into effective ways of building the capacity of higher education faculty to support the critical development of K-12 educators to plan, design, and deliver effective instruction. This webinar will serve as a culminating event for the Affinity Group series, emphasizing how higher education faculty can better prepare pre-service teachers to service students with disabilities in online contexts with regards to their executive functioning, assessment, and engagement. Current online teachers will join for a Q&A session identifying important skills online teachers need. This conversation will be facilitated by Dr. Sean Smith and Samantha Goldman and will leave you with resources and strategies for use and much more. Join us for the conversation on April 27, 2022 at 1pm CST | 2 pm EST.
