Politics is all about plans, mainly plans on how to improve life and living. The quality of life depends a lot on our choices and these directly impinge on our surroundings.
Land and resource use has been with us for quite a few decades now.
What is our relationship with land?
Do we have a national strategy where the environment is concerned? Is the 2050 plan realistic? Do we plan well? Do we keep to what we plan?
Do our plans respect nature: ecosystems, biodiversity, climate? Do we use or abuse our natural resources: water, stone, soil?
How does all this tie into the fifth anniversary of the landmark Papal encyclical Laudato Si by Pope Francis?
