Manual accessibility testing is crucial to ensure you have a fully accessible website. As intelligent as computers are becoming, some website content and functionality simply can’t be tested by a machine. In this webinar, we’ll discuss how to manually check for things like keyboard accessibility, good color usage, proper heading order, and descriptive alternative text. We’ll be using WAVE, a focus bookmarklet, and Colour Contrast Analyser to help us perform these manual checks. Please note that you do not need to know any code to attend. Be sure to participate in both this and the session on automated accessibility testing to get a more full view of testing websites and web pages for accessibility.
