The most common diseases treated with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in children are acute leukemias. With recent advances in transplant regimens and supportive care, the outcome of patients has steadily improved. Many controversies in pre- and post-transplant care remain, and the optimal approaches have yet been determined. In this webinar, Prof Leung will go over several controversial issues and outline some conceptual frameworks in transplant in a question-and-answer format.
The main presentation by Prof Wing Leung (KKH) will be followed by interactive case discussions with expert panel comprising Prof Wing Leung, Dr Pamela Lee (HKU), Assoc Prof Tan Poh Lin (NUH), moderated by Prof Hany Arifin (UMMC)
