Driver education and driver license testing have been affected by COVID-19 since March 2020 when many States were shut down to stop the spread of the virus. State agencies and providers are looking for guidance, recommendations, and alternative ways to deliver driver education and conduct driver license testing should a second wave occur or a similar event would occur again in the future. ANSTSE developed two task groups to develop considerations for behind-the-wheel instruction, end-of-course knowledge testing and driving performance assessment. During the webinar the task groups will present these considerations to obtain feedback, recommendations and concerns related to the considerations provided.
