As the Director of Performance Insights and Modeling at IFF, Jack leads a research group responsible for predictive modeling and directional performance testing to support R&D. In this role, he is interested in new sensor technologies, including novel ways to digitize olfaction. Prior to joining IFF in 2011 as a Research Fellow, Jack held various technical positions at pharmaceutical companies, including Parke Davis, Pfizer, and Wyeth. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Queen’s University at Kingston, and an undergraduate degree in Engineering Chemistry from the same institution.

Mr. Thomas Riener (born 1967), joined ams in 2004 after more than 10 years with Philips Semiconductors, where he developed and managed the worldwide Contactless RFID and Microcontroller Smart Card Business. Aside various general management roles, he also held ams corporate management roles such as managing corporate marketing, strategy, M&A and business incubators. Mr. Riener holds a degree in Industrial Engineering & Economics of the Technical University of Graz. Mr. Riener is an Austrian citizen.
