This webinar will cover the neurobiology of traumatic events, how eye movement de-sensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is efficacious in reducing symptoms related to traumatic disorders, and an overview of EMDR techniques.
1. Have a basic understanding of EMDR and its use in clinical settings.
2. Understand what bilateral stimulation (BLS) is and how it impacts the process of recollecting a traumatic event.
3. Understand the two primary measurements of subjective report that occur during the EMDR process: SUDS and VOC.
