Scaling Tropical Forest Monitoring: A Lunch & Learn on Planet-NICFI Satellite Data available via Lens

Efficient, scalable monitoring of the world’s tropical forests is critical to their protection. To help solve that challenge, Planet and Norway’s International Climate and Forests Initiative (NICFI) have collaborated to provide monthly satellite imagery of the tropics to evaluate deforestation impacts and reforestation efforts at scale. Viewing this free data in Lens makes it easy for anyone regardless of training to review, annotate, and use this up-to-date data in reporting.
