We raise funds for meaningful real estate projects building better cities everywhere. We match developers to investors, providing investment opportunities for everyone who cares about cities and wants to make change. She has a background as an architect, city planner, urban designer, real estate developer, community development strategist, publisher, and instigator, rich understanding of how cities work, how urban neighborhoods can be revitalized, what policies are needed to do it, and the unique marketing that creates the buzz needed for regeneration. Amongst my many urban (ad)ventures, I’ve developed a dozen buildings in blighted neighborhoods founded a non-profit, cityLAB, built Pittsburgh’s first tiny house, organized a speaker series, launched a Pittsburgh e-zine called PopCity, and established downtown Pittsburgh’s first co-working space. Franz Hochstrasser (CEO & Co-Founder @RaiseGreen) Franz is the CEO & Co-Founder of Raise Green. For those who are overwhelmed by the climate crisis and tired of being told to recycle and petition their way out of it, Raise Green is the community finance platform that enables every American to join the ranks of the heroic entrepreneurs and innovators powering the transition from dirty to clean energy. Franz co-founded Raise Green to make it easy for everyone to join those actually making a difference, to reclaim ownership of the energy system, and put your money to work for the future – as well as a healthy return. He is a former Obama appointee on energy and climate for the White House, US State Department, and US Department of Agriculture, and served on the core team that negotiated the Paris Agreement. He holds a Masters degree in Sustainable Finance from Yale University. Michelle Thimesch (CEO @Crowdfund MainStreet) Michelle is the CEO of Crowdfund Mainstreet, a regulated investment crowdfunding platform. She has over two decades of closely-held business consulting experience as an estate and succession planning attorney. She has helped her clients create legacy and philanthropic planning goals that ensure the continuation of business and community involvement for the next generation. Michelle is the founder of East Bay Revitalization, Inc., a nonprofit that addresses the scarcity of affordable housing and economic opportunities for working families. David O'Leary David O'Leary is an angel investor focusing on the regenerative economy, supporting companies that are working to address social and environmental issues through innovative products and services. He worked for more than 20 years on building the Internet, first as a service provider prior to and during the transition to today's commercial Internet, and then with network equipment manufacturers Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks.
