Kevin Andert
Executive Director
Kevin Andert is the Executive Director of Career and Technical Education and College and Career Readiness at Special School District in St. Louis County. Mr. Andert has spent the last 12 years working in the field of Career and Technical Education at both the secondary and post-secondary setting specifically focusing on creating a talent pipeline to fill the region’s labor needs.
Julie Brinkhoff
Director @Great Plains ADA Center
Julie directs the Great Plains ADA Center's core service activities including training, technical assistance, product development, and dissemination. Julie has extensive experience in designing and disseminating training programs and materials on a variety of topics related to the ADA. She has assisted numerous communities in meeting ADA compliance obligations, developing ADA implementation policies/strategies, and meeting Project Civic Access requirements. Her primary areas of expertise are ADA employment provisions, service animals, accessible web design, customer service, and Title II and III ADA implementation. She is especially interested in designing and disseminating information in effective, user-friendly formats through multi-media. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Missouri and has been involved with the Center since 1995.
Pamela Christopher
Employment Specialist @National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Center for Employment
Pamela Christopher is an experienced Employment Specialist at National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), Center for Employment with a demonstrated history in working in higher education. Pamela helps job-seeking students prepare for internship positions and permanent jobs through advising on resume and cover letter writing, interview skill building, and more job seeking techniques. She is responsible for initiating, enhancing and maintaining relationship with employers. Pamela also orients potential employers to NTID and provides training on how to successfully work with and employ deaf individuals.
Vincent C. Flewellen, MSW
Chief Diversity Officer @Webster University
Reporting directly to the Chancellor, Vincent C. Flewellen provides key leadership for Webster University’s core value of advancing diversity and inclusion as part of the educational mission through the University’s network of domestic and international locations. In response to the murder of George Floyd, Flewellen launched Webster Speaks: Dialogues on RACE, EQUITY and INCLUSION. As host of the virtual series, he sits down with thought leaders and prominent Black voices and other people of color to discuss issues surrounding systemic racism. For years of work promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in education, Flewellen was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 2020 Class of Diverse Business Leaders. Flewellen holds a Master of Social Work from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in education from Maryville University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education through Webster University’s School of Education.
Jason Hartsfield, MSW
Disability Inclusion Lead Consultant and Career Counselor @Starkloff Disability Institute
Jason Hartsfield is a career advisor, social worker, and disability advocate. Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. Jason has made improving the lives of people with disabilities his mission throughout his career. As someone living with both a visual impairment and a chronic mental health condition, Jason knows first-hand the challenges facing people with disabilities living in an able-bodied world. As the Disability Inclusion Lead Consultant and Career Advisor with Starkloff Disability Institute, Jason divides his time between teaching career advancement courses to job seekers with disabilities, providing one-on-one career consultation, and delivering workshops on disability inclusion in the workplace to Starkloff’s community and corporate partners.
Dawn Higgins

Dawn Higgins, SHRM-CP, PHR is currently Senior Manager Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Nestlé Purina PetCare. Dawn has a 25-year career in Human Resources and outside of work Dawn is committed to serving on professional organizations and in her sorority, spending time with her husband and dog and creating handmade jewelry.
Jacqueline Jefferson

Jacqueline Kennedy Jefferson has over 14+ years of experience implementing and leveraging diversity and inclusion platforms. She is responsible for developing and leading initiatives and programs to advance SSM Health’s Culture of Inclusion and ensure system Human Resources and identified Patient Care programs, policies and initiatives are designed to create inclusive workplaces so employees can experience and deliver an exceptional patient and customer experience. Her professionalism and commitment to employer success has resulted in several accolades including a national award from the American Institute of Architects and recently Employer of the Year for working with individuals with disabilities from the Missouri Rehabilitation Association. Jacqueline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development from Saint Louis University and a Masters in Management from Fontbonne University.

Adewale Soluade
Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion @Centene Corporation
Adewale (Walé) Soluade, a Nigerian-born American citizen is the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Centene Corporation. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s diversity and inclusion programs and policies. He also develops and maintains strategies, measurable goals, and objectives that link diversity and inclusion to critical business initiatives while evaluating existing programs for effectiveness. After graduating from high school in Nigeria at 16, he attended the University of Central Missouri near Kansas City, where he earned a bachelor’s of science in Business Administration. He then continued on to obtain his M.B.A, with an emphasis on Leadership and Management, from Fontbonne University. He is a Certified Diversity Professional (C.D.P) through the Institute for Diversity Certification.
