The uncertainty, stress and anxiety of COVID-19 has negatively impacted the mental health and wellbeing of the construction workforce. Many experts fear the conditions are ripe for employees and families to suffer harm from the relapse of alcohol and substance use disorders and suicide during and after COVID-19.
