The 2023 Fall National Caring Congregation Webinar

Oct 13-14, 2023, 9 am - 4 pm CST daily

Presenting the CCM (Congregational Care Minister) model of care for congregations will be: Rev. Karen Lampe, Founder of The Caring Congregation, LLC, and author/co-author of 5 books on this effective model of caring for church congregations with limited staff. She will be joined by members of the National Team: Rev. Joy Dister-Dominguez (Texas), Rev. Laura Berg (Florida), Rev. Melissa Collier Gepford (Kansas), Rev. Monica Childers (North Carolina) and Rev. Tino Herrera (Kansas City).

Individual Registration includes two days of training with over 10 hours of content (training + Q&A + worship/commissioning service). Topics covered: Theology of Care, Boundaries, Listening & Spiritual Guidance, Elder Care, Visitation, Care for the Sick and Dying, Organizing (Recruiting, Roles & Documentation), and Evaluation and Building the Vision for a culture of care. Instruction includes how to adapt care during times of crisis (i.e Pandemics). Payment can be made by PayPal, debit or credit card. Recommended books for training: The Caring Congregation Implementation Guide and Care Minister's Manual available for purchase from thecaringcongregation.com/resources. Registrants receive all handouts, a set of digital care cards, 30 days access to webinar recordings, an invitation to a post webinar 1-hour Zoom follow-up meeting, and a certificate of completion for 10 contact hours in congregational care training.
