The European Blood Alliance (EBA), the European organisation of not-for-profit blood establishments is organising an open roundtable discussion, co-hosted by MEP Frédérique Ries, MEP Tilly Metz and MEP Roberta Mestola on the 25th of May, from 12.30 to 14.00.
At the event, speakers, including patients, donors, MEPs, and EBA representatives will exchange views with the audience on the opportunities and challenges brought about by the revision of the Blood Directives and draw recommendations for the future Blood legislation.
EBA will launch its position paper “A sustainable blood and blood components provision in the EU” at the event.
