We have to do something about the stereotypes associated with Black and Latino boys. This event will identify and discuss specific stereotypes which are used to victimize Black and Latino adolescent males. There are examples of how increasing the sensitivities to these false images result in significant benefits to society. The problem is that many well-meaning individuals are not aware of their biases. This webinar will discuss the types and associated definitions of prevailing stereotypes as well as strategies for overcoming those stereotypes.
