The webinar is organised by Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability (TCAID) with support from All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care.
The webinar will be chaired by Professor Mary McCarron, Professor of Ageing and Intellectual Disability, Director of the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability (TCAID) and Executive Director of the National Intellectual Disability Memory Service.
The key note presentation will be delivered by Dr Eilish Burke, Ussher Assistant Professor in Ageing and Intellectual Disability, School of Nursing & Midwifery. Trinity College Dublin. There will also be an input on the experience of the using the end-of-life planning tool by Ms. Liz Hunt, RNID and Area Manager, West Roscommon Services, Brothers of Charity Services, Ireland.
The session will also include a panel discussion including panel members Dr Eilish Burke, Ms. Liz Hunt, Lynn Galligan, CNM2, Daughters of Charity and Dr Karen Ryan, Consultant in Palliative Medicine, St Francis Hospice
