Thanks to the generous Education Sponsorship of Glaukos, we are happy to bring to AFOS Members another Tuesday Talk! Dr. Mitch Ibach will be presenting "Covering the Bases with Cases in Keratoconus".
In a progressive condition like keratoconus, the foundation or bases in patient management revolve around early diagnosis and preserving vision. Paramount in preserving vision in ectasia patients is taking an interventional approach to stop corneal warpage. With a case based approach, this lecture aims to present patient scenarios that discuss keratoconus signs, diagnosis, stabilization treatments with corneal crosslinking, and visual rehabilitation in the keratoconic patient. Attendees should leave this course with the bases covered to be a medically minded eye-care provider for their corneal ectasia patients.
