Ethics in Case Management
Today’s case managers are uniquely positioned to work with their teams to ensure the application of the highest level of ethics in their daily practice. It is well known when we follow ethical patient care, everyone benefits: the patient, their family, and the organization. In addition the fiscal impact of healthcare costs is lessened and leads to greater sustainability.

In the May episode of Issues and Answers we will discuss Ethics in Case Management. We are honored to have Laurie Signorelli, DBH, MSW, LMSW, ACM as our expert speaker. Dr. Signorelli will share her insights and answer your questions on ethical issues you face in your everyday practice.

Specifically, we will:
• Discuss professional ethics versus traditional bioethics and the relationship between professional values and professional ethics.
• Look at ethical competencies for case managers.
• Show how to apply ethical decision-making models for case managers.

To ensure we make this episode is valuable to you and your team, please enter your questions when you register so we can address them as a part of the discussion.
