The Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy is organising a conference with multi-sectoral stakeholders to reflect and discuss on the progress, gaps, and opportunities in supporting cancer treatment and care in Malaysia.
The government, past and present, have repeatedly emphasised its commitment to the implementation of improved cancer control and prevention strategies to reduce incidence, mortality and increase cancer survival. This commitment has become dramatically important as the country tackles the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency.
What challenges have people living with cancer faced over the past 18 months? What gaps have been identified, and what are the kinds of innovations to overcome access issues regarding cancer treatment and care? How can we improve cancer survival in Malaysia?
Join us for the discussion!
