NPPA Townhall: Field Safety and Security

The NPPA Townhall: Field Safety and Security Training is held to bring training and awareness to working visual journalists who are planning to cover the upcoming inauguration and associated events. The photojournalists and reporters who will be converging on the nation’s and all 50 state capitals will produce remarkable, historic work while under immediate threat. The NPPA is creating this space for visual journalists to share their best practices and advice for coverage of these historical moments. Townhall participants will hear legal advice, learn best practices for safety precautions, and hear about the reality of covering high profile news from some of the top talent in the industry. This event is open to members and non-members.
